[Tergiversation]
composed on February, 16th - 17th 2008.
Presentation
I have composed this track for a special need, some french fans from Aerozone forum decided to compose an album for Jean Michel Jarre's 60th anniversary and I wanted to take part of the project. I have composed 3 tracks for this album called "Wait&See", but my major track remains this one, "Tergiversation". The title was given to me so I had to compose a Jarre-ish track for that tribute album. I decided to compose a track in the vein of his album "Sessions 2000" which is quite Jazz orientated. Thanks
As I wasn't much into Jazz myself, the first two friends to whom I have given the track were really surprised. That's why I
need to thank them for their help : - Dark Shrimp, for whom I actually had the idea to compose a Jazzy track as he is himself quite a Jazz fan, with a vibraphone as main instrument as he plays it; - Pierre Maton, another Jazz fan who helped me a lot to improve the track and add several layers which make it sound like what it sounds now, without his help, the track wouldn't have really been the same ! Material used
- Roland JV80 (bass, vibraphone) Download / Releases
A CD release of the whole album "Wait&See" is to be done, including all the tracks of the album, no more information known now. |
