More informations about this album :
This album is a tribute to Klaus Schulze. I finished to compose this album on Saturday 10th March 2007, it's composed of 13 tracks. The 8 tracks you can listen to on this page are the final versions featured on the album. The original release date was set to Sunday 18th February, but it took more time than expected. I tried to make an album close to Klaus' music style. Some of the headline tracks follow more or less this kind of music, and some other are very far from it, but still being a tribute. Tracklist :
More informations about Klaus Schulze :
Klaus Schulze is one of my favourite musician, after Jean Michel Jarre and ex-aequo with Enigma. I am still discovering his work, he released more or less 55 albums, and I don't have them all, despite. The things I like in his albums are these beautiful sequences played on his Moogs, on which he adds some nice pads, wonderful effects from the AKS and the VCS3. His tracks are very long, but not too much repetitive, he has a lot of inspiration ! His tracks are full of effects, always reverberated, drums are always well done, his work is perfect, I'm amazed, it is hard to describe his music ! Imagine you are in a huge hall, or better, in a cold church, surrounded by these wonderful walls there are in churchs, then add, instead of the big organ, the hugest wall of modular synths ever seen, with some VCS3 and AKS and some synths like JD800, CS80 and so on... Yeah, the result gives something like that :
Klaus Schulze About his last album, Moonlake : Commercial new age musicians could learn a lesson or two from the master.
